We've had a lovely evening, mulled wine and mince pies. Very aromatic.
Here are some of our Christmas decorations. Sorry for the blurry rather orange photos but we have a small camera and a very small living room! Apologies over...I love Christmas.

You might just be able to make out in front of the television right in the centre is a tiny tiny nativity scene. Lol, I bought that off eBay last year and I expected a full size nativity. I was rather surprised when it came through the post - to say the least. Always read the description, photos can be deceiving! :) Hub's feet and the X-factor on TV can also be admired! :)
Our nativity, you might notice the white dove lying in front of the crib. Lol it's fallen off the top of the stable and I didn't notice until after I'd taken the picture.
For some reason this is the only picture that didn't come out orange!
Through the mirror which reflects the window which in turn reflects the Christmas tree.
I love my tree, its design reminds me of the White Tree of Gondor

Christmas is a great time of the year. It is a time for decorations of all sorts big and little. I have two manger scenes -one is white ceramic and the other has a barn,Mary and Joseph,three kings,animals and two men. The most important pieces are The Babe and an angel. I have a fiber optic small tree and a little decorated ceramic tree. And a few other decorations.
They go up quickly and come down quickly. I have gotten too many decorations and can't put them all out.
Old age will do that to you.
You did a beautiful job with yours.
It looks lovely and cosy with the fire and all the lights. Shame about the miniature nativity. Love the white tree of Gondor!

Joyce - thank you. I love lots of decorations, but we haven't a great deal of room. I'm happy with what I have though. :)
Bookworm - I did laugh about the nativity, I should have wondered as it was very cheap! I love my tree, it would be good if it were white. :)

Yes the dove is to represent the Holy Spirit, it's supposed to be on top of the stable not lying on the floor lol.
I like the Gondorish tree...
BTW I find that I need to not only read the description but use a ruler to get a real visual of size...
