Howarth Parsonage, home of the Brontës. |
Come join Diary of a SAHM for Happy Homemaker Monday
I'm not sure what is happening with fonts in this post! I've faffed around trying to sort them out for too long... haha
The weather.....
We've had a lovely few days weather-wise. Sunshine and a bit warmer. Today it is still sunny but much cooler, but the sunshine just makes everything feel so much better.
As I look outside my window...
Lovely sunshine! Blue skies and not a cloud to be seen, a little hazy in places.
Right now I am....
About to go empty the washing machine and then do my couch to 5K run and meet B after her volunteer job.
Something fun to share...
I'll share what we got up to this weekend: Brontë Parsonage visit.
Thinking and pondering...
What to do on this beautiful day!
On my reading pile....
From Venice with Love, Rosanna Ley
On my TV.....
Severance. Modern Family. Reacher.
Listening to....
The washing machine humming and the birds singing.
On my to do list....
Clean around, Couch to 5K run, hang washing out when the machine finishes, bob to the shop for something for lunch.
Happening this week....
- Planting some honeysuckle that I bought at the garden centre this weekend
- Taking mum to a hospital appointment on Wednesday
- Cleaning for mum and dad on Thursday
My simple pleasure....
Cup of coffee in the morning! The buzz of bees - I was so excited to see my first bee of Spring this weekend - it was HUGE, I'm thinking maybe the queen??
Lesson learned the past week....
That you need to live YOUR life, not someone else's.
Looking around the house....
Two lovely bunches of flowers (including some roses that are still alive from February!). Sun coming in through the window. Ahhhh lovely.
From the camera....
On my prayer list.....
Mum and dad's health and wellbeing.
Bible verse, Devotional....
Don’t be obsessed with getting more material things. Be relaxed with what you have. Hebrews 13:5
Have a lovely week!

Hello dear Sarah! How lovely you get to plant honeysuckle and dig in the dirt. ;) You sound like such an amazing daughter the way you honor and take care of your folks. 🙏🏻💗 Love the cat pic - looks so cuddly! Blessings on your week xoox
Awwww sweet baby :) Love kitties! Have a wonderful week ahead!
Thanks Carrie :) I can't wait for the summer when it will hopefully bloom and bring that beautiful scent!
Me too. She is such a sweetie
Obviously your ground is no longer frozen ( IF it freezes out your way) since you were able to plant that Honeysuckle. I am so looking forward to puttering outside. Soon, hopefully.
We've not had a hard frost since January I think. It's so. nice to get in the garden x
I love how you write your list of things from the past week out. We are getting spring here too and are very excited. Your cat is adorable!
Oh, the smell of honeysuckle outside a window is the best! We used to have some here but then, the fence came down and it didn't stay. What a fun cat photo :) Hope you are enjoying your week.
Aww look at the kitty, so cute! Honeysuckle yay spring is in the air! Have a great week
Love a good list! :) Coco is so ridiculously fluffy and adorable
Honeysuckle is just the nicest scent
Sounds like a busy week, have a grreat one!
I LOVE your observation of NOT living someone else's life, I've been struggling with a few of those thoughts myself. And I LOVE your kitty picture - must be the week of the kitty! We're far from thinking about spring here, but I love the thought of planting hineysuckle. I hope your week was great!
Thanks Emma :)
Apparently our weather is going to warm up quite a bit this week, so feeling very Spring-y :D
What a cute kitty! I know summer has officially arrived when I smell honeysuckle and see blackberries. I hope you have a good week and your family's health improves.
Thanks Lindsi :)
