British English Word of the Day!

Codswallop

When one is neither convinced nor impressed with something one might exclaim, "What a load of old codswallop!"

British Word of the Day!

Blather

Apparently it is of Scottish origin from Old Norse Blathra.

A lot of my blogging is 'blather' :)

Computer has been fixed

Computer has been fixed - hubster is a clever boy!

Me n' Chatterbox are at home today poorly sick. Just a bad cold. I feel terribly shivery too. I just couldn't get warm yesterday. Hopefully we'll be back on our feet tomorrow.

Boots is in the wars too, she's got a sore foot poor puddy-tat.

Anyway, just thought I'd update you all on the computer status, etc.

Computer issues

I may not be online for a bit whilst we sort out our computer, which is causing us a multitude of issues, I'm typing this elsewhere.

Have a wonderful week.

I totally forgot pancake day

Chuh, I forgot Shrove Tuesday. How can I claim to be English and forget Pancake Day?

Lol.

So, back to the kittehs, this has to be the cutest kitty video ever!

Hope you're having a lovely week.

Cute video

I'm not a huge fan of Valentine's Day - it's all a bit sickly. Hubster isn't a fan either. I hope I can show hubs I love him every single day and not just through the shallow commercialism of Hallmark! :p Lol

However, this video was really cute and I couldn't resist:

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
(1 Cor 13:13 NIV)

And we know this is true, for God IS love - and nothing is greater than God; if we remain in Him we have love everlasting.

Hello peeps

Flickr

Hello there. I realise I have been woefully lax in posting recently, but I've neither had the time (been a busy bee) nor the imagination to type anything out (call it 'blogger's block')! :)

Anyway, I just thought I'd stop by and say, 'hello chaps and chapesses!'

I'm really enjoying Casting Crowns' album 'Until the Whole World Hears'. Here is a beautiful song, 'Blessed Redeemer', which has blessed me tremendously, I hope it blesses you too.

Oh how I love Him, Saviour and friend
How can my praises ever find end?
Through years unnumbered on Heaven’s shore
My songs shall praise Him for evermore
