Thanks Barbara, the scan wasn't too bad, he did this thing with a very bright light that hurt. Fortunately the hyaloid artery cell matter (my 'floater') isn't dangerous at all, just irritating.
Bummer - I was reading along - hoping that you would be told there was something that could be done for them. Sigh, oh well. I am glad your retina is healthy.
No, there are things that can be done for floaters but I think that the risks of further eye damage are such that it is only worthwhile if vision is seriously impaired.
hey ho...I've been around...really. :) just haven't posted much. and ha, ha...dave. :) I have floaters too, but not that bad. but since he's a plankton, shouldn't you have named him Sheldon? he, he. okay, maybe you don't watch spongebob square pants...okay, I don't either. I just know way more than I should about that show. :)
